Train with CDL

Preparing Future Professionals

The Child Development Lab (CDL) at MU serves as a multidisciplinary learning environment dedicated to advancing the education and professional preparation of students from a broad spectrum of academic disciplines—both within and beyond early childhood education.

Building skills through practice

Hands-on Experiences

The CDL provides a variety of opportunities to support student learning and professional growth including:

  • Facility tours that introduce students to the classroom setting and resources
  • Space for observation hours that allow for direct insight into child development and educational practices
  • Practicum placements where students can apply theory to practice
  • Research project support that fosters inquiry and discovery
